Meet Our Dentists

Arbi Ananian
DDS

Dr. Ananian is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2003. After a year of residency in New York he moved back to Los Angeles where he started working for the Carlson Dental Group, a Burbank staple for over 30 years.  In 2010 he acquired the practice from Dr. Leonard Carlson and expanded it to the multi-specialty clinic that exists today.  Dr. Ananian constantly strives to maintain the high standards established by Dr. Carlson for general family dentistry.

Dr. Ananian is adept at all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and also has almost ten years of experience with the Invisalign system of  teeth straightening.  Dr. Ananian also has a lot of experience treating patients with anxiety or distinct phobias of dentistry.  Dental phobia very often results from traumatic experiences in childhood.  Dr. Ananian takes a very patient and caring approach to try to get patients feeling comfortable with the office and the team before starting any procedures that could aggravate the fear response.  Dr. Ananian also utilizes many different tools to help make the dental experience more comfortable, ranging from state-of-the-art noise cancelling headphones to minimize the sound of the drill, to general anesthesia to put patients to sleep if necessary.  If dental fear has been keeping you away from the dentist, we recommend coming in for a consultation with Dr. Ananian.
